ALICE COOPER And ELVIRA Share Halloween Spotlight

October 19, 2006

According to RadioInk.com, Elvira (a.k.a. "Mistress of the Dark") will be a regular contributor to ALICE COOPER's radio show "Nights with Alice Cooper" through the remainder of October. During the segments, Elvira will provide reports and advice to listeners, all related to the Halloween season.

"Nights with Alice Cooper" is a classic-rock format and is nationally syndicated on the United Stations Radio Networks. Air times differ, so make sure to check out NightsWithAliceCooper.com for more information.

For twenty-five years, Elvira — a character created and portrayed by actress-writer Cassandra Peterson — has been synonymous with Halloween. Her notoriety as Mistress of the Dark began when she first appeared as the hostess of a local Hollywood horror movie show on television, and her fame grew from there. In the last two decades she has appeared in movies, on TV and in live appearances, and her Halloween costume is the best selling female costume of all time.
